Cell Host & Microbe just released a special issue devoted to phages!. This includes four free featured reviews, one of which is this article by Kaitlyn Kortright, Benjamin Chan, Jonathan Koff and Paul Turner of Yale University, where they describe the use of phages to select against virulence and antibiotic resistance. Excitingly, they also take us through five clinical case studies and the three most advanced phage clinical trials done to date.
